Raffaello Franiuk

Founder | Creative director

Class ’83, born in Poland, raised in the lower Verona area, moved to Genoa in 2009.

After becoming a computer expert I immediately turned to a training that best suited what I really liked, enrolling in a two-year course of graphic advertising operator in Verona.

After the training, 10 years of freelance work followed, during which I worked for clients ranging from small local craftsmen to agencies and corporations with hundreds of employees. In Genoa, after meeting Lucia, we decided to create something more…Chiccheny.

The graphic arts have been part of my life since I was a child and it has always been something I have never lost interest in. I believe that having the opportunity to do a job that is also a passion is the most rewarding thing of all. I face and live each new project with the same enthusiasm as the first time. But not if you make catheters. If you have an activity that produces catheters and you want a logo, do not look for me.

Experiences

As a freelancer I followed many startups, which is why brand design soon became my daily bread and consequently my specialty.

In recent years I have also developed specific skills in the field of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) related to the world of web and mobile apps.

I love photography, in particular I’m passionate about portraits. Often it happens that I exploit this passion even in the projects we work on.

For some years I taught Photoshop and Illustrator to individual professionals and groups.
